Having problems with your Panasonic Lumix DMC-S3 Digital Camera ?

I dropped my Panasonic Lumix DMC-S3 and it fell on its lens

\015 It dropped on carpet so nothing is scratched or anything. It was turned on and my cousin dropped it with the lens fully extended. When it hit the floor, it bent the lens and now it's crooked. I searched online and they all said to force the lens open. I tried that gently and it did nothing! I keep it very clean and i cleaned it with a paper, so I know there can't be any sand particles. It's VERY crooked and I can't ask my cousin to pay for repairing or replacing since she doesn't have much money and her parents would get mad if they found out she broke someone else's camera. I'm 14 and I can't tell my parents so I want to know a free or cheap way to fix it. If there isn't anything I can do, I can save up money and get a new one or replace it.\012Please share your experiences and what kind of camera you have. I want to be able to fix it by next week for a family trip. It's okay if I can't fix it by then. I can just say I forgot it or something.\012Thank you!\015
