I'm a new user of the D90 (and digital in general), and on my first major trip with it I had problem with the shutter not working. I would take some images, put the camera down without turning it off and move on to the next spot. At the second stop the camera would not work. I'd turn it off, remove the battery, run the lens in and out and eventually it would work again. The message I got was F--, which said that the lens was not installed properly. However the lens was never removed. What's

While at the beach, someone threw a frizbee at my wife and she dropped the camera in the sand. We were careful as we could be picking it up to avoid entrance of sand into the camera.
